LeEco is all set to host an event at the Siri Fort auditorium in New Delhi on June 8. The Chinese company is likely to launch its next-generation smartphones, including the Le 2, Le Max 2 and the Le 2 Pro for the Indian market. With its new smartphones, LeEco has focused on the camera features and quality.
The Le 2, launched in China earlier this year, features a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) support. The Le Max 2, on the other hand, features a 21-megapixel rear camera with PDAF as well as support for optical image stabilization (OIS). Up front, both smartphones feature 8-megapixel selfie cameras.
Another area of focus on these smartphones is security. LeEco’s next-generation smartphones feature a fingerprint scanner as an added level of security. The scanners on these smartphones support ultrasonic technology that not only make them fast but secure too.
Besides smartphones, LeEco is also likely to launch its VR headsets, and maybe its entry into the e-commerce space with LeMall.com. The event in New Delhi is only five days away.
