Samsung Galaxy Note7 Price, Release Date, Specifications, and All Other Rumours

Samsung has announced that it is hosting its grand Galaxy Note Unpacked 2016 event on August 2. The event will be conducted in New York, London, and Rio de Janeiro simultaneously, where the Galaxy Note7 will be unveiled to a presumably large audience. The event will be live streamed on the company website, and will begin at 8.30pm IST.

With less than a month left, the rumour mills have been working overtime churning out all the possible details of the phablet. Numerous features and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note7 are already known. We compile all the rumors and leaks that have surfaced online so far, and give you a comprehensive list of all that is expected to come with the Galaxy Note7 this year.

Release date

Samsung is breaking its traditional pattern by launching the phablet in early August. The company looks to fend off iPhone competition, and for that reason the Galaxy Note7 will reportedly be made available to purchase in the South Korean market the very same day. According to a fresh leak, Samsung is looking to make the Galaxy Note7 available to buy before the Rio Summer Olympics kick off on August 5, where it is the official wireless partner. In the meanwhile, another leak tips availability in the US via T-Mobile from August 19.

Price

Leaks surrounding the price of the phablet have been minimal, but an early leak did tip possible Europe prices. The Galaxy Note7 is expected to be priced starting from EUR 849 (roughly Rs. 63,000) in Europe, which is EUR 50 more than the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Note7 not Note6

The company is skipping a numeral this year and calling the phablet the Galaxy Note7, instead of the Galaxy Note6. The company has announced that it has taken this step to avoid confusion among its consumers, and unify its product portfolio. Samsung released the S7 and S7 Edge this year in its flagship Galaxy 'S' series, and bringing its Note series to the same numeral made sense to it.

Iris scanner

After the Galaxy Tab Iris, Samsung is set to flag off the iris scanner feature in its mobile portfolio with the Galaxy Note7. The scanner has leaked on multiple occasions, and the last one even gave us a glimpse of it in action. It is expected to unlock the device in less than a second (the user only has to look at it). Of course, this doesn't mean that Samsung has ditched the fingerprint scanner, and it will still be embed the sensor into the Home Button. A leaked video also showed the iris scanner feature in action.

Dual-edge display

There are a lot of firsts with the Samsung Galaxy Note7, and at the top of the list is the dual-edge display. Sure, an Edge variant did accompany the Galaxy Note 4, but this time around Samsung looks to exclusively launch the dual-edge display variant, and give the flat screen variant a complete miss - something a more recent rumor also substantiates. Samsung is said to have ditched the Edge variant with last year's Galaxy Note 5 due to some tech difficulties in getting the S Pen to work on the edges. That seems to be solved now, and the company is all equipped to flaunt the display as its big feature on the phablet.

Water resistant

The Galaxy Note 7 will be the first in its series to get water-resistant capabilities. A Zauba listing tipped that the phablet will be dust and water resistant to an extent. A recent teaser advertisement by the company for the phablet also tipped water resistance, further cementing the rumour.

USB Type-C port

The Galaxy Note 7 is also said to be the first phablet in the Samsung portfolio to switch to the Google-approved USB Type-C port. Leaks do point toward this change, but the final confirmation will only come on August 2. Further adding to these rumours is a recent one that tips Samsung will pack a USB Type-C to Micro-USB adapter in the box.

Specifications

Very little has been left to the imagination when it comes to the Galaxy Note7. The phablet is said to sport a 5.8-inch QHD Super Amoled display, though previous reports had tipped a 6-inch display instead. Gorilla Glass 5 protection is now also expected to be used. The smartphone is expected to come in two variants featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and Exynos 8893 SoCs paired with 6GB of RAM (10nm chip). However, there have been contrasting reports of a Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB RAM as well. The Galaxy Note7 will offer three inbuilt storage options - 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB (with the choice to expand as well). Another rumor tips that 64GB will indeed be the base storage variant. It is rumoured to sport a 12-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, both with Dual Pixel technology. The company is also expected to pack a a 3600mAh battery on board, alongside fast charging capabilities. The smartphone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based TouchWiz Grace UX, and ship in Onyx, Titanium, and Blue Coral colour variants.

Colour variants

The Samsung Galaxy Note7 is expected to come in three colour variants - Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, and Blue Coral. This information comes from Evan Blass, a source with high accuracy rate. Interestingly, a Gold colour variant is not added in the mix, however we won't rule it out completely till official launch.

Improved S Pen features

Samsung has succeeded in keeping details about the S Pen a close-guarded secret for now. The Korean giant has confirmed that the new S Pen alongside the Galaxy Note7 will come with 'added functionalities', but that's all we know about the stylus for now. Samsung will presumably also not repeat the same mistake it did with the Galaxy Note 5, which was said to have a 'S Pen design flaw' that allowed the stylus to be inserted backwards into its slot, causing damage to the stylus detection mechanism and possibly getting stuck.

New Gear VR headset

Samsung has been tipped to launch a new Gear VR headset with new capabilities alongside the Galaxy Note7 on August 2. Apart from new features, it is said to come with USB Type-C compatibility, to natively support the new smartphone instead of requiring an adapter.

Samsung Cloud

The Galaxy Note7 is expected to launch with a new cloud backup service from Samsung, said to rival Apple's iCloud network. While no real details are known at this point, it should enable easy backup of photos and other data, which can then be accessed from other compatible devices.

iPhone 2016 Pre-Orders Tipped to Begin on September 9

Noted tipster Evan Blass has been dropping information about release date of the upcoming iPhone every day this week, and after saying that the iPhone 2016 will hit the shelves on September 16, the tipster has now revealed the date when the smartphone is expected to go up for pre-order.

According to Blass, Apple will begin pre-orders of the new iPhone on September 9. Typically, the company begins pre-orders three days after the launch event. Therefore, if this new information from Blass is true, then the earlier speculated September 5 or 6 launch event date is rather likely. Apple's media invites should begin to roll out mid-August revealing the official launch event date.

The new iPhone - which could be called the iPhone 7 or the iPhone 6SE, depending upon who you believe - has been making headlines for quite some time now, and very little is left to the imagination ahead of the launch.

The new iPhone should see a better camera, a shift in antenna bands, a faster A10 chipset, and a separate additional larger variant is expected to get visible hardware changes as well. Earlier leaks suggest that the Plus variant will just be larger, similar to the iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6s Plus. There were also suggestions that a 'Pro' variant with a dual camera setup and a Smart Connector at the back will also been launched. A new Space Black color variant has also been tipped in various leaks.

The upcoming iPhone has been leaked in photos and videos revealing the smartphone from all angles. There's also a tip that Apple may make minimal design changes to the iPhone this year, breaking the traditional tick-tock cycle.

Lỗi đột tử của LG G4 được chính LG xác nhận và LG gọi lỗi này là "Infinite loop Auto power off”. Lỗi này xuất phát từ con CPU Snapdragon 808 mới nhất lúc đó mà LG dùng cho G4 bị lỗi 2 nhân A57 đóng không chặt, sau khi hoạt động 1 thời gian nóng quá gây chảy keo dẫn đến maý treo. Vì vậy chỉ có thể thay main sản xuất từ tháng 10 trở về sau với CPU đã được fix lỗi hoặc là vẫn xài main cũ thì phải tắt bỏ cụm 2 nhân A57 đó.

1. Cứu máy đã bị lỗi đột tử “Infinite loop Auto power off”
Hiện tại thì LG chỉ mới hỗ trợ cứu 1 số dòng LG G4 sau: LGH812, LGH815,LGH815K ,LGH815TR,LGH818,LGH818P,LGH818N,LGH819 ,LGV32
Cách cứu thì cũng đơn giản các bạn chỉ cần TẢI FILE FIX ĐỘT TỬ LG G4
Giải nén sẽ thu được thư mục data như hình dưới

Công cụ cứu LG G4 bị lỗi đột tử

Lưu ý máy đã đột tử trên nền Android 6.0 thì TOT về 5.1 trước rồi mới thực hiện. Không thực hiện trên máy đã cài Android 6.0 và cách này chỉ có hiệu quả cho các máy bị treo do lỗi “Infinite loop Auto power off”.

Cách bước thực hiện

1. Giải nén file G4 đã tải về
2. Cài đặt file: LGUP_Store_Frame_Ver_1_14_3.msi
3. Cài đặt file:: LGUP_8994_DLL_Ver_0_0_3_23.msi
4. Đưa điện thoại về chế độ download mode
Giữ vol + và cắm cáp kết nối điện thoại vs máy tính. Nếu bạn làm chuyện này lần đầu tiên thì nó sẽ cài driver, chờ 1 lúc. Kết thúc bước này bạn sẽ vào được download mode.
5. Chạy chương trình: "LGUP" từ Desktop
6. Chọn vào: "Upgrade"
7. Chọn vào "Bin File"
8. Nhấn vào nút 3 chấm ... : "File Path"
9. Tìm đến thư mục: "G4 series MSM Big disable core tool File_v3.0" đã giải nén
10. Mở thư mục đúng với mã điện thoại của bạn mà LG hỗ trợ
11. Chọn file trong thư mục đó
12. Nhấn nút "Start"

Xong chờ kết quả thôi!

2.Cách phòng bệnh đột tử cho các máy còn sống.
Các máy vẫn còn chạy tốt nhưng main sản xuất từ tháng 9 trở về trước có thể die bất cứ lúc nào thì bây giờ các bạn có thể dùng phần mềm để hạn chế sử dụng 2 nhân A57 khi đó điện thoại bạn sẽ hạn chế tình trạng bị đột tử do 2 con CPU A57 gây ra.
Yêu cẩu: Máy phải được root, còn cách root như thế nào thì các bạn tham khảo các bài hướng dẫn trong website lgvinh.
Phần mềm: Kerneltoolkit mình đã up sẳn bản pro luôn.
Tiến hành cái 2 file apk bình thường. Khi mở Kerneltoolkit sẽ hỏi quyền root cấp quyền root cho nó.

Trong tab Power chọn vào đây

Rồi vào tắt nhân CPU

Lưu tùy chọn này mỗi khi điện thoại khởi động lại.

Kiểm tra lại bằng CPU-Z

Vậy là xong !

Ngoài ra các bạn cần tốc độ có thể hạn chế lại xung 2 nhân A57 cũng được.

Hiệu năng của máy sau khi tắt bớt 2 nhân A57 sẽ giảm đi chút ít nhưng bù lại sẽ không lo đột tử và thời gian sử dụng pin cũng được kéo dài hơn 20-30%

Nextbit Robin Ember Color Variant Launched; August Software Update Detailed

Nextbit has launched a new color variant for its cloud-based Robin smartphone. The Ember color variant will be made available in limited quantities via Flipkart beginning next week.

The limited edition variant has already gone up for sale in the US on the company website at $299 (approximately Rs. 20,100). Nextbit asserts that this color variant is just available till stock lasts, and that the stock will not be replenished in the future. The price of the smartphone in India is Rs. 19,999.

The company has also announced that beta testers should've received the forthcoming August software update that should enable support for storing videos on smart storage. Nextbit has promised the update will also bring the latest security patches, and improved thermal tuning for keeping the Nexbit Robin smartphone cooler during multitasking. The company has also promised an Android N update sometime in the fourth quarter, and it is expected to bring along improvements to significantly boost battery life alongside all the new features.

The Nexbit addresses the limited storage issue in smartphones with a cloud-based storage solution. It can automatically back up photos and apps that haven't been used recently to the cloud to free up space on the device. It features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display, a Qualcomm hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of inbuilt storage which is non-expandable. The Nextbit Robin comes with 100GB of free cloud storage space.

Other features of the Nextbit Robin include a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 2680mAh battery, a USB Type-C charging port, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Xiaomi just unveiled its own MacBook Air rival laptop, the Mi Notebook Air along with a metal-clad Redmi Pro

Xiaomi Redmi Pro and Mi Notebook Air laptop have been launched today by the company at a special event in Beijing. Redmi Pro will the new flagship smartphone in Xiaomi's budget Redmi series. The company claims to have sold 110 million Redmi smartphone since they were first launched in August 2013.

Xiaomi Redmi Pro has a 5.5-inch full HD OLED display. The smartphone gets a brushed Aluminium design with CNC chamfered edges, and a front fingerprint sensor. Redmi Pro runs the MediaTek's Helio X25 chipset with 10-cores (Two A72 cores), which is clocked at 2.5 Ghz and has a Mali T880 GPU for more efficient gaming. There's also a version with MediaTek Helio X20 processor.

The high-end 4GB RAM+128GB version costs RMB 1999, while the 3GB RAM+64GB version is priced at RMB 1699. The 3GB RAM+32GB version with MediaTek Helio X20 processor starts at RMB 1499. In India the Redmi Pro, if it launches, will have to come with a Snapdragon processor.

Redmi Pro will have a dual camera set-up as was indicated by the leaks. It has a 13 megapixel Sony IMX258 sensor camera on top for still images, and 5 megapixel Samsung sensor rear camera for depth on the bottom. Redmi Pro will come in Gold, Silver, Dark Grey. The battery is 4050 mAh. Redmi Pro goes on sale in China on August 6.

Xiaomi has also launched the Mi Notebook Air at the event, which the company claims is thinner than the Apple MacBook Air. Mi Notebook Air has a 13.3-inch full-HD display, edge-to-edge glass protection, and a full metal body.

Mi Notebook Air's dimensions are 309.6. x 210.9 x 14.8 mm and it weighs 1.28kg. In terms of ports, it has a HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, a Type-C USB port for charging and 3.5 mm headphone jack. The new Mi Notebook Air comes with a full-size keyboard with individual backlit keys, and the company claims this keyboard is ultra-thin with 1.3 mm keystroke depth.

The 13.3-inch version of the Mi Notebook Air has an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB PCIe SSD, battery life up to 9.5 hours, AKG and Dolby speakers, and Windows 10 operating system. It is priced at RMB 4999, which comes to around Rs 50,419 on conversion.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air has also been launched in a smaller, and cheaper 12.5-inch version. The Mi Notebook Air with 12.5 inch full HD screen also gets a slim all-metal body, life time up to 11.5 hours, and runs the Intel Core M3 processor. It has 4GB of RAM + 128GB SATA SSD hard drive, built-in speaker and support for Dolby surround sound. This one is priced at Yuan 3499, which is around Rs 35,290 on conversion. The two Notebooks will go on sale on Xiaomi's website on August 2.

For Xiaomi which has expanded into India, Brazil and other markets after China, the Redmi series has been one of their biggest successes. Redmi Note 3 was launched in India at a price of Rs 9,999 (2GB RAM +16GB storage) and Rs 11,999 for the higher end 3GB RAM+32GB storage version, and has got rave reviews across the board.

Xiaomi has promised that it will bring more phones to India, and it remains to be seen if the new flagship Redmi Pro will also be launched here. Another question is if the company will bring the top end variants of this phone to India. The Mi Notebook Air’s India launch also remains to be seen.

Apple iPhone 7 may be launched as the iPhone 6SE: Here’s why it makes sense

In the past few months, I've been covering a string of rumors around Apple's upcoming devices allegedly the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with minimal changes, and then we've also been hearing about the big overhaul coming next year with the iPhone 8. Now, the rumor mill has thrown in one more device to confuse us further — iPhone 6SE.

The new rumors points out that the company will be launching iPhone 6SE in September. Interestingly, the report claims the company will call the new device iPhone 6SE instead of iPhone 7. Apple is known to be pretty tight lipped about news related to its upcoming products, but German website Apfelpage.de, citing supply chain sources, said packages are already being produced with the iPhone 6SE branding.

Apple's product cycle

This makes sense, considering the product cycle Apple is known to follow. Last year was the 'S' year which usually brings some internal 'speed' changes. So, this year, ideally, the alleged iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus should come with a major design overhaul. But rumors all along have been indicating that the devices this year will come with minimal changes, such as waterproofing capability and the removal of the audio jack. So, joining the dots, an iPhone 6SE and probably 6SE Plus would make more sense. And, this means the big overhaul will come with the iPhone 8 next year, and the company will be able to follow the nomenclature it has been using, so far. Also, this year the devices are expected to simply be an upgrade to the 6s series, and naming the smallest variant the '6SE' makes sense.

iPhone turns 10 next year

The big changes coming in next year also make sense since it will be a grand year for a device that turns 10. Now, that explains a lot about the big changes planned for next year. Jony Ive has apparently planned a major overhaul for next year, celebrating 10 years of iPhone.

It is also about 'big' technology in the pipeline

Besides celebrating the iPhone's 10th anniversary, the technology that Apple plans to implement is also believed to be very complex. This report claims that Jony Ive has been hoping for an iPhone that looks like a single sheet of glass and the ideas for 2017’s iPhones seem to be something on those lines.

Apple is smarter than you think

Why would Apple not put its best foot forward when the sales are sliding off a slippery slope and wait until next year? Well, because it could be a well-thought move. Apple may be looking to create a year long lull and analysts are saying that a "powder keg is forming in the installed base," a theory by Timothy Arcuri and his team of analysts at Cowen & Co..

Apple iPhone users who are expected to upgrade to iPhone 7 or probably the 6SE are about 33 percent (a consistent figure for the past six quarters), and by the next five quarters this number will go up by 43 percent. The 43 percent upgrades will bring in more sales next year than the 33 percent this year. He calls it a super-cycle for the year 2017. The iPhone to be launched this year could be described as a bridge to get to the super cycle.

He explains, "The iPhone 7 (or the alleged iPhone 6SE) won’t be a big design innovation because it realises the ageing dynamics of the base and saw this coming years ago. Choosing to save the true cycle of innovation for when the base would be incredibly ripe is a smart move. Xiaomi Mi Notebook Price, Specifications, Design Tipped by New Leaks

Ahead of Xiaomi's Wednesday event in Beijing, leaked images of a new Mi Notebook have made it to the Internet. Apart from the alleged Mi Notebook images, presentation slides claimed to be from Xiaomi have also surfaced hinting at the possible pricing of the device.

According to leaked details, the alleged Mi Notebook is said to come in two variants - standard featuring Intel Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 40,000), and a Pro version with an Intel Core i7, Nvidia graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage priced at CNY 6,699 (approximately Rs. 68,000). The Mi Notebook is said to sport a 15.6-inch display and will have a USB Type-C port. Xiaomi may showcase the alleged Mi Notebook at its Wednesday event.

The leaked images posted by GizmoChina show an all-metal notebook. The side profile image of the Mi Notebook purportedly shows a sleek device. It's worth noting that the leaked image do not show the Mi logo on the device.

Of course, as with all rumours and leaks, I personally advise readers to take the above information about the Xiaomi's first Mi Notebook with a pinch of salt, as the Chinese company is yet to make any announcements about its new notebook.

For Xiaomi's Wednesday launch event, a series of teasers from the company have confirmed several details of the new Redmi smartphone dubbed Redmi Pro. It will feature a deca-core MediaTek Helio X25. Previously, Xiaomi revealed that the Redmi Pro will sport an Oled display.

iPhone 7 may Launch in the Week of September 12: Report

Apple traditionally holds its iPhone launch event in September every year, but there is no official announcement on the iPhone 7 event date yet. However, a fresh leak now points at a tentative launch time frame. The iPhone 7 may be launched in the third week of September, specifically in the week of September 12.

Just to clarify, this refers to the retail release, not the launch event. To be even more specific, it should happen on Friday, Sept. 16th.

This time-frame comes from tipster Evan Blass, who is noted for his accuracy when it comes to leaks. Last year, Apple launched the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus on September 9, however it came to India a month later. The same pattern is also expected this year.

The iPhone 7 was expected to launch in three variants - iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and a new iPhone 7 Pro version. However, new leaks hint that Apple may just stick to two variants this year. There is also expected to be a new base storage variant - 32GB. The probable storage offerings are going to be shuffled to 32GB, 128GB, and a possible new 256GB variant.

Apple may also introduce a new dual camera setup in its large iPhone 7 Plus variant. There is also going to be the addition of the Smart Connector at the back, again exclusive to the large variant only. To accommodate all this new hardware, the iPhone 7 Plus may get a bump to 3GB RAM.

The variants are expected to sport slightly bigger batteries, and the new Apple A10 processor for faster performance. The Home Button is expected to perform multiple functions, and be Force Touch enabled. Because of the new chip (and if the rumoured death of 3.5mm audio jack is true), the iPhone 7 is also expected to be at least 1mm slimmer than its predecessor.

There's also a lot of chatter about the 3.5mm audio jack. Conflicting reports on the removal of the audio output make it difficult to really nail a presumptive conclusion on whether it will be included this year or not. There's also expected to be a new Space Black colour variant with this year's launch.

FIFA 17 Up for Pre-Order in India: Price, Release Date, and More

FIFA 17's price has been revealed for India. It is Rs. 3,999 on the PS3, PS4, Xbox and Xbox 360 and is up for pre-order now. The PC version is digital only as it has been for the last couple of years. And much like FIFA 16, it will be exclusive to Amazon India.

The price of Rs. 3,999 comes as a relief considering that Battlefield 1, another high-profile EA game is up for pre-order at Rs. 5,199.

Interestingly, Amazon India only lists the Standard Edition of FIFA 17 which comes with an eight match FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) Loan Item of Eden Hazard, Anthony Martial, Marco Reus, or James Rodriguez, five FUT draft tokens, and Special Edition FUT kits. The Deluxe Edition and Super Deluxe Edition haven't been listed yet. Safe to say they should be in days to come.

Furthermore, the announcement of FIFA 17's price and pre-orders this early is indicative that Amazon India is confident of getting the game on time. A major plus point considering how the grey market and parallel importers got the jump on the e-commerce giant last year.

FIFA 17 will be available in the US from September 27 and the rest of the world (India included) from September 29. The game will be on EA Access for the Xbox One a week prior to release and on PC through Origin Access. You can also pre-order the game digitally.

On the Xbox One and the Xbox 360, FIFA 17 Standard Edition is for Rs. 3,500 and comes with an eight match FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) Loan Item of Eden Hazard, Anthony Martial, Marco Reus, or James Rodriguez, five FUT draft tokens, and Special Edition FUT kits.

And then there's a FIFA 17 Deluxe Edition which includes up to 20 FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) Jumbo Premium Gold Packs for 20 weeks, access to FUT kits early, an eight match FUT Loan Item of Eden Hazard, Anthony Martial, Marco Reus, or James Rodriguez, and a three match team of the week loan player, one per week over 20 weeks. This costs Rs. 4,240.

For Rs. 4,500 though you can get the FIFA 17 Super Deluxe Edition. This doubles the number of Gold Packs and three match team of the week loan players. The rest of the entitlements remain the same as the Deluxe Edition.

The same editions are available on PC, although the pricing differs. Rs. 3,499 gets you FIFA 17 Standard Edition, while the FIFA 17 Deluxe Edition will set you back by Rs. 4,799. If you have your sights set on the FIFA 17 Super Deluxe Edition, expect to shell out Rs. 5,499.

On the PS4 you'll be paying Rs. 3,375 for FIFA 17 Standard Edition, Rs. 3,999 for the FIFA 17 Deluxe Edition, and Rs. 4,499 for the Super Deluxe Edition. If you're still on a PS3, expect to pay Rs. 3,330, Rs. 3,999, and Rs. 4,499 respectively.

These come with all the same freebies as the Xbox One and PC versions with the addition of a FIFA 17 theme. Keep in mind that buying digitally usually means a large download size and the lack of resale value, making the physical version a valid option especially in countries like India where Internet connectivity isn't the greatest.

FIFA 16 was found to be an interesting beast. The core gameplay veered towards simulation with thoughtful ways that retool some of its most basic actions and your approach to a match. However it's hamstrung with flawed execution to some of it's headline features like FUT Draft and women's teams. How EA rectifies this in FIFA 17 remains to be seen.
