Hosted by Hollywood star Ashton Kutcher, Punk'd was a popular reality show in which hidden cameras were used to pull a prank on people, in many cases, celebrities. The show was well received by youngsters all across the world for years.
The producer says she would make alterations in the original concept for Indian audience. So far, episodes featuring actors Nargis Fakhri, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, producer Siddharth Roy Kapur, and music composer Anu Malik have been shot, sources revealed."MTV Jhand is expected to go on air within a couple of weeks. Newcomers Siddharth Gupta and Siddharth Bhardwaj, who are also working in her upcoming production, Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi , will host the show to be aired for five weeks.
The concept, however, is not new in India as MTV had earlier broadcast a similar series called MTV Bakra which too had become a huge hit.
