Microsoft may be planning to launch Surface Pro 5 in first quarter of 2017

Microsoft seems to have quite some plans for the new year. Reportedly, the Redmond-based technology giant is planning to launch the newer version of its Surface Pro - the Surface Pro 5, in Q1 2017.

According to a report on Economic Daily News, the new Surface Pro 5 is likely to come with a 4K Ultra HD display, a magnetic charging stylus, and that Pegatron Technology will manufacture the device. Though, nothing has been confirmed yet. Microsoft may also bring in Quanta Computer for Surface Pro 5's manufacturing.

The report further adds that in addition to the Surface Pro, strong sales of Microsoft's Surface Studio are expected to boost Pegatron's performance. Also, it was recently revealed that Microsoft is working hard to make the Windows 10 operating system more gamer-friendly. The company is reportedly working to develop a dedicated 'Gaming Mode,' in the latest build of its Windows 10 OS.

Keep in mind these are just rumors, only time will tell how true they are!
